Conference Healthcare Innovations in V4 and Israel

The international hybrid conference Healthcare Innovations in Visegrad Countries and Israel will take place on Wednesday, September 21st, at BEA Olomouc. The aim of this event is to debate socio-economic challenges of healthcare in Europe and Israel and to present the results of an international project focused on eHealth innovations and healthcare management in Visegrad countries. The conference will bring together experts from universities, hospitals and state administrations and it is intended to establish a platform for healthcare innovations in Visegrad countries and Israel.

Among the distinguished speakers will be prof. Niek Klazinga (OECD), who will have a presentation on “Challenges of European Healthcare; the role of Healthcare System Performance Management “. Former Secretary of State of the Israeli Ministry of Health Moshe Bar Siman Tove will speak about the Israeli road to the cost-effective health system. “Sustainable Visions and Strategies of University Hospital“ will be the topic for prof. Roman Havlík, CEO of Olomouc University Hospital. Deputy Minister of Health Radek Policar will reveal the agenda of the Czech Presidency of the EU and eHealth. The Visegrad project will be presented by researchers from University of Economics in Katowice, Budapest Business School-University of Applied Sciences, University of Economics in Bratislava and Moravian Business College Olomouc (research leaders – Grzegorz GlodJudit Sági, Denisa Gajdová, Jindra Peterková). Among the Israeli experts will be Edna Bar-Ratson from Maccabi HMO, Oren Pearlsman from the Israeli Ministry of Health and a representative of Reichman University.

The conference is organized by the Moravian Business College Olomouc, BEA Olomouc, the Czech-Israeli Mutual Chamber of Commerce with support of the Visegrad Fund, the Israeli Embassy in the Czech Republic, Tesco SW.  The event is part of the annual Czech-Israeli Innovation Days in Olomouc.
